ChargePoint announces new features for be.ENERGISED platform
Three years ago, the charging infrastructure specialist announced the acquisition of has-to-be and consequently also the backend be.ENERGISED. Since then, ChargePoint says it has “continuously maintained and developed” the product. be.ENERGISED can now manage over 900 charging station models from more than 100 manufacturers.
“ChargePoint’s be.ENERGISED platform boasts consolidated services for CPOs and eMSPs, including VAT handling, automated invoicing, streamlining financial operations for multinational charging providers,” wrote ChargePoint. The software is an end-to-end solution that can cover every step of the charging process and is said to offer the necessary “flexibility and modularity for all use cases”.
The charging infrastructure specialist has now announced new functions, offers and enhancements to its platform. These include the new payment terminal, which supports the new “OCPI v2.2.1 Direct Payment Module” standards. It is also compliant with the AFIR regulation that came into force in April. In addition, eMobility Service Providers (eMSPs) are able to give their customers access to more than 750,000 charging stations in Europe via the roaming network. In return, charging station operators (CPOs) will be able to make their charging stations accessible to the public with “a few mouse clicks” by means of roaming agreements with the “be.ENERGISED Community”. Furthermore, the CP6000 AC charging solution is now available on the be.ENERGISED platform for selected customers. Without going into further detail, however.
“A new set of market demands necessitates even the most advanced charger management platforms to deliver innovative features for the future,” said Andreas Blin, Director for Service Provision at ChargePoint. “A leader in the market for more than a decade, be.ENERGISED meets the challenges charging businesses face, ensuring that both new and existing infrastructure can excel in an ever more dynamic environment.”
